Bathrooms and Kitchens
The majority of work we do is related to renovating bathrooms and kitchens by changing the flooring, shower stalls, fixtures, and repainting the walls.
Bathroom and kitchen renovations, when done responsibly can greatly add to the resale value of your home.

We can remove your existing flooring and install a ceramic or porcelain tile. We have many layout options, can install specialty trims to accent your design. We use specialty products to prevent cracking and damage to tile floors which extends the life of the floor considerably.
Tired of that old fiberglass tub or shower? We can remove it and provide a clean and durable custom tile surround. Ceramic tile drastically changes the look of a bathroom when compared to pre-fabricated fiberglass.
We can replace all of your fixtures from toilets, lighting, switches, receptacles, to new exhaust fans.
We repair all the imperfections in the wall surface, removing wall paper if necessary and then painting to give the bathroom or kitchen a clean “new” feel.
We provide custom shower doors and mirrors. After about 10 years, mirrors start to lose the silver backing and become hard to clean. Mirror replacement really adds to the newness of a bathroom renovation for minimal cost.
We install bath accessories like towel bars, towel rings, toilet paper holders, and wall accessories using heavy-duty anchors which won’t work loose in 6 months.
Disaster Restoration
When fire or water damage occurs, it can be an extremely rough experience on the homeowner as they are expected to help facilitate contractors doing the remediation and restoration, while also working their regular jobs.
It is imperative that you hire responsible and professional companies to work in your home, especially if you are not able to supervise them.
While we don’t handle the immediate remediation we do handle the restoration aspect of your catastrophe.
Remediation is the first phase and must be completed as soon as possible to limit the amount of further damage. Minutes really do matter as wood products will start to soak up the water and start de-laminating and splitting the longer they are left exposed.
Restoration is the second phase and puts your home back together.
While many remediation companies provide restoration services, it is usually not completed in a professional manner. Although the catastrophe is usually paid with insurance dollars and at no cost to the owner, there is a great chance for over-pricing and fraud and most companies are not licensed for the restoration phase.
Don’t feel rushed or pressured into using a certain contractor for the restoration work.
You typically have 7 – 10 days in the case of water damage for the area to dry out. During this time, you should secure pricing from at least 2 contractors, but preferably 3.
We can handle all aspects of the restoration from sub-floor preparation and repair, cabinet repairs and installation, baseboard and trim repairs, wall repairs and painting, insulation services, carpets and hardwood flooring, to new fixture installation.
General Contracting
A product of these tough economic times is the necessity for owners and developers to hire competent general contractors who can keep costs down by foreseeing typical construction issues. It has become common practice for general contractors to purposely leave out known items in the work scope knowing the owner won’t be able to compare apples-to-apples when approving contracts, and therefore can submit change orders for the required work in the future. We absolutely despise this tactic and would prefer to not be awarded the project, all the while knowing our number was responsible and covered all the required work.
We pride ourselves in providing a high quality, and on-time finished product.
As a general contractor, we assume the risk of cost overruns during the construction phase, and it is our responsibility to hire and coordinate any and all trades required for project completion.
We can handle projects from home renovations and additions to commercial build-outs and commercial renovations.
We are licensed and insured.
Inside
We offer many services related to the interior of your home. This listing is not all-inclusive but shows a lot of the things we routinely to. The interior of your home is a special place and we take great pride in being able to work in it. We provide a level of quality that we want in our own homes, and we take great care in protecting your home and furnishings while we work in it.

Why continue to bother with that old wooden, water-logged, maybe rotten, garage door. We install garage doors, insulated or non-insulated, windows or no windows, at competitive prices. This is a new service that we added after we secured bids on replacing doors for a few clients and thought the pricing from local garage door specialists was unreasonably high. Since we don’t have the high overhead costs as those companies, we are typically 20% – 30% lower than their installation price.
Don’t let that broken and wobbly ladder prevent you from using your attic as a storage space. A faulty ladder can also be an extreme safety hazard, as the risk of falling is dramatically increased. We can replace your existing access ladder, or even add another if necessary. We typically install a wood/aluminum combination access ladder as the aluminum is unbelievably sturdy and safe, and since the price of aluminum has come down, they are very affordable.
We can also expand your storage capacity by installing more plywood in your attic.
Storm doors are a great addition to any home as they provide a first line of defense, for air and moisture intrusion, while also protecting your exterior entrance doors. Most homes have a solid wooden front door which is unprotected from the outside elements and weather. After a few years, the seal-coatings on these doors fail and then the wood is fully exposed. You can tell if your door is compromised when the wood grain is raised and rough as it soaking up the moisture in the air.
We can re-key standard residential door locks, and/or install a lock that you have purchased but need it to match other locks in the home.
** We cannot let you in a locked home. We only re-key new locks and change existing locks to use the same key.
Hardwood flooring is extremely durable and long-lasting, not to mention more hygienic than carpets. We can remove your existing flooring, and install a full hardwood (bamboo, red oak, pine, etc) or laminate flooring.
Ceramic or porcelain flooring is also very durable, but is not as susceptible to water damage as wood products. We use specialty products which reduce the possibility of damage to the floor caused by expansion/contractions, floor movement, and impact.
Tired of seeing that outdated and flaking popcorn ceiling? We can remove the unsightly popcorn texture, and prepare the ceiling for new paint.
Need to update the wall colors in your home? We can perform a full color change, or just paint selective wall based on your requirements. We only use high quality Sherwin Williams paints that are long-lasting and durable.
We provide professional installation of wall art and wall hangings. You are proud of the picture or art you have chosen, shouldn’t you make sure it installed properly so it won’t get damaged.
Tired of seeing that wall with wallpaper from the 60’s or 70’s? We can remove old wallpaper and prepare the walls to be painted, or install new wallpaper as needed.
Need to move some pictures or wall hangings, but don’t know how to fix the mounting holes? We can repair and re-finish any drywall.
Want to move a wall, or open up a room? We can usually move or modify any interior wall depending on structural issues. We can build a new wall, move or modify a wall, repair, and repaint if necessary, then coordinate the flooring repairs.
Want to make a little change to your kitchen, but are certain you can’t find comparable cabinets or finishes? We can modify your existing cabinets and can provide custom cabinet doors to match most cabinets.
We install and repair interior doors and door casing, as well as install chair railing, wall baseboard, wall shoe (over hardwood flooring) and crown moldings.
We install custom wood shelving with closet hanging rods, or can install pre-fabricated wire shelving in any configuration or design. Closet organization is one of the most important things you can do. We can help you reconfigure or design a new system to expand your current storage space.
Have a wood project and need a craftsman to make it happen? We have fabricated many unique projects in the past, from custom furniture, to faux columns, to decorative wall recessed areas and repaired custom cabinets and shelving systems.
We can repair that leaky sink or faucet as well as install new or replacement fixtures. We can update all the plumbing fixtures (sinks, faucets, commodes, mop sinks, bathtubs, soap dispensers) to more modern finishes.
We can add or update the existing light fixtures (ceiling fans, light switches and covers, bathroom vanities, recessed lighting, exterior lighting, etc.) Have a dark area outside your home and are concerned with safety, we can install a motion activated light, that will illuminate the whole area. Want to be more “green” and updated to compact fluorescent fixtures or LED, we can help.
We can install all the necessary blocking or bracing required for a ceiling fan, in an area that doesn’t have a ceiling fan. It is extremely dangerous to install a ceiling fan on an electrical box that was previously used for a simple light fixture, and that was not rated for a ceiling fan. We can also just replace an existing ceiling fan with a newer updated model.
We can install concealed speaker wiring in your walls with little to no damage. But, if we do damage the wall, we can repair the drywall and paint the repair as necessary. I don’t know of an electrician that can provide that level of service. Most of the time, though, no repairs are needed as we use specialty tools and techniques.
Outside
We offer many services not related to the interior of your home. All of these services are considered “outside”. This listing is not all-inclusive but illustrates many of the services we provide from exterior maintenance of the siding and trim, to accessories like wooden decks, privacy fencing, wheelchair and accessibility ramps, to leisure equipment like pergolas and arbors.
If you are looking for something that isn’t listed below, feel free to contact us and we would be happy to discuss it with you. You can click here to go to our contact form.
We can clean your brick, siding, wood patio or deck, and concrete driveway, using state-of-the art rotary pressure washing tools which provide a deeper more consistent clean. We have a special driveway cleaner that functions like a floor buffer, allowing us to clean larger size driveways and parking areas.
We can replace your existing wooden deck or build a new custom deck. We can also re-screen you porch or patio if needed. We also repair and/or updated wood railings that have broken or failed.
We can repair your existing privacy fence, or build a new fence all together. Tire of a sagging gate that rubs the ground and is hard to open? We can repair and modify the gate to swing sag-free.
Unfortunately, accidents happen, people age, and are in need of handicap accessible ramps and doors. We can build code approved, safe and comfortable handicap accessible entrance ramps to the front or rear of a residence, as well as remove smaller interior doors and install wider, wheelchair accessible doors, door knobs and grab bars. We can also build a custom deck or patio, from single to multi-level, any square footage, using real wood, or longer lasting synthetic materials.
Want to give your child or grandchild the dream backyard, but know that putting that play system together by yourself would be too much? We can install the pre-fabricated backyard play systems, as recommended, or even anchor them permanently to the ground for longer life and added safety. We can also design and build a completely custom system.
Need that old cracked paint taken care of? We can scrape old siding and trim and repaint.
Wood decks, patios, and privacy fences MUST be surface treated every few years, otherwise the wood will begin to rot, even if it is pressure treated lumber. We can pressure wash the area, and then use a high quality solid stain that carries a warranty of 8 years to extend its life.
Rotten wood will only get worse. We can remove the compromised wood, replace it with treated wood, and the paint as necessary. The whole board may not need to be replaced, but our repairs won’t be noticeable after they are painted.
Want a quiet area to relax in your backyard? We can build a custom pergola or arbor that will provide years of use.
Project Management
In todays tough economic times, owners and developers are looking for ways to save money, while still ensuring a timely, and budget conscious construction process by using a construction manager to oversee and manage the entire project life cycle. One major advantage to using a construction manager is obviously cost as the construction manager charges a consulting fee well below that of general contractors who must include a risk or contingency number to cover unforeseen building challenges.
Since the construction manager is technically a consultant and bears no risk in relation to cost overruns, it is of the utmost importance that they be extremely qualified and very diligent during all phases of the construction process. A well qualified construction manager, who works for a set fee, has no conflict-of-interest, and can freely give ideas for value engineering, product substitutions, and or quality changes based on the ever evolving projects needs. The construction manager acts as the owners agent and coordinates the necessary architects, engineers, public and city inspectors, and third-party inspectors.
We offer services starting with the following construction phases:
- Design or Concept Exploration
- Budget and Cost Evaluation (Feasibility Studies)
- Pre-Construction
- Bidding and Contract Letting
- Construction
- Consultant Coordination
- Quality Control Inspections
- Document Approval
- Pay Application Certification
- Safety Evaluations and Inspections
- Close-Out
Hiring a construction manager is a very important part of the construction process and should be done as early as possible to help in the coordination of the required consultants.
